Meiringen Festival of Music, 6 – 14 July 2012
Classical music enthusiasts have been enjoying the concerts in the Michael’s Church in Meiringen since 1960. These concerts impress through their quality and intimacy and are renown throughout Switzerland. A highpoint for the organisors is the annual bestowing of the «Golden Bow» prize which is donated by the Violin Making School Foundaton in Brienz.
This year‘s festival theme is «transitions».
The Golden Bow
Take part in the bestowing of the «Golden Bow» and experience a concert devoted to the colour «gold». An outstanding musical personality will receive this honour.
