Hike through fields, meadows and gardens and find out about over 250 herbs in our medicinal herb garden, marvel at the many farm animals running around or watch artisans performing age-old trades and crafts. You can see how wood is made into coal and watch smithys, bakers, cheese-makers, weavers or shingle-makers at work. Our special events also give you the chance to find out even more about Switzerland's heritage and traditions. Enjoy a meal at one of Ballenberg restaurants or take a picnic along.
