Sherlock Holmes Museum
This exhibit gives you an interesting view of the history of police and criminals in London in the 1890’s. It also shows how Scotland Yard still holds the values of Sherlock Holmes, even today in this era of computers.
You can also view Sherlock Holmes’s sitting room and see
material about Holmes and Watson.
The exhibit, which houses mainly items that have been lent to the museum, complements the main exhibit in the museum which is the reconstructed salon of Holmes and Watsons at 221b Baker Street, where they lived for many years. The development of this room from 1780 is described separately and in many languages by cassette play-back. The first authentic and worldwide unique copy of the salon at 221b is well worth seeing. Have a nice day!
